Bildstars and Eigenheimers

The photo installations"Bildtstars en Eigenheimers\\\" give a face to the potato growers from Friesland and Groningen. Potato cultivation strongly determines the characteristic landscape in the Wadden region. And the potato growers are important for the Frisian and Groningen identity and culture. In addition, they and their land play an important role in determining the atmosphere in the landscape in both provinces.

Linette Raven's portraits give them a face. As part of the Brug, Brêge, Bridge project of the Frisian Environmental Council in 2018, the portraits can be seen under bridges in Dokkum. With this project, a large part of the Frisian bridges will be transformed into exhibition space for amateur and professional artists. Waiting for an open bridge is no longer an annoyance, but an experience! In addition, from 2018 the first photo installations"Bildtstars en Eigenheimers\\\" can be seen in the yards of the potato farmers themselves.
