This cycling route takes you along Ninove, Aalst and the beautiful intermediate nature reserves. You will discover the Dender region at its best! The route starts at junction 91 in Ninove, a town steeped in history. The city lies against the Flemish Ardennes, but also against the Green Belt and Pajottenland: the heart of three regions. From Ninove you cycle through the beautiful countryside to Aalst. The last part of the route you cycle along the river Dender, wonderfully relaxing! You cross various beautiful nature reserves and forests. This also applies to Wellemeersen, one of the last flood areas in the Dender Valley. The area has a variety of flora and fauna. Nature lovers can indulge themselves here. Via Denderleeuw you cycle back to Ninove.
