This cycle route takes you along Ninove, Aalst and the beautiful nature reserves in between. You will discover the Denderstreek at its best! The route starts at junction 91 in Ninove, a city with a rich history. The city is located against the Flemish Ardennes, but also against the Green Belt and Pajottenland: the heart of three regions. From Ninove you cycle through the beautiful countryside to Aalst. The last part of the route you cycle along the river Dender, wonderfully relaxing! You cross several beautiful nature reserves and forests. Also through Wellemeersen, one of the last flood areas in the Dender valley. The area has a variety of flora and fauna. Nature lovers can indulge themselves here. Via Denderleeuw you cycle back to Ninove.
