Just outside Garderen you will find the monumental Farm Het Molentje. The farm is located on the edge of the Kootwijk forest, where you can enjoy a lovely walk. Enjoy the tranquility that prevails here and take a nice walk of 6.5 kilometers. Great to stretch your legs and discover the area! Nice to know: Farm Het Molentje used to be an inn. King Willem III made a royal stopover here, because he - along with many other passers-by - did not want to travel through the woods in the dark. So they spent the night here on their way from Apeldoorn to Amersfoort.
