By bike from Lake Constance to Königssee
A sporty way to discover the most beautiful sights of southern Bavaria 435 kilometers from Lindau on Lake Constance to after Schönau on Lake Königssee - the Bodensee-Königssee cycle route offers a sporty opportunity to discover the grandiose pre-Alpine landscape and world-famous monuments. Along the northern border of the Alps, this route crosses the regions of Allgäu, Bavarian Swabia and Upper Bavaria.
There are a total of 3,917 vertical meters to overcome - steady ascent and descent, for which you will be rewarded many times over: New panoramic views are added again and again. This route passes small villages, charming little towns and traditional spas and healing baths. Numerous refreshing lakes invite you to cool off and the cultural highlights of southern Bavaria are offered everywhere. The royal castles of Ludwig II, Neuschwanstein Castle and Herrenchiemsee, are must-sees. Baroque jewels such as the Wieskirche or the Klosster Benediktbeuern lie along the route. The historic towns of Füssen, Murnau, Bad Tölz and Bad Reichenhall invite you for a walk through the beautiful old inner cities.
