Tour of Vroongronden and Burgh-Haamstede

Your cycle route starts at Strandpark De Zeeuwse Kust. In Haamstede you can see Slot Haamstede, a national monument from the thirteenth century. You also cycle to the Graanhalm, a corn mill from 1847. Burgh originated around a ring rampart that was built at the end of the ninth century against marauding Norsemen. You cycle through the forest and along the beach to Renesse. In the heart of the village you can clearly see that this is also a centuries-old ring village. You pass the beautiful Slot Moermond. This castle originally dates from the thirteenth century. Back at your starting point you can have a bite to eat at Strand Café DOK. Or stay overnight at Strandpark De Zeeuwse Kust!
