Tour of Vroongronden and Burgh-Haamstede

Your cycling route starts at Strandpark De Zeeuwse Kust. In Haamstede you can see Haamstede Castle here, a national monument from the thirteenth century. You also drive to the Graanhalm, a corn mill from 1847. Burgh was built around a ring rampart that was erected at the end of the ninth century against raiding Normans. You drive to Renesse through the forest and along the beach. In the heart of the village you can clearly see that this was originally a centuries-old ring village. You will pass the beautiful Moermond Castle. This castle originally dates from the thirteenth century. Back at your starting point you can enjoy a bite to eat at Strand Café DOK.
