The extraordinary nature on the Muldental trail along the Freiberger and Vereinigte fascinates.
Here the typical landscapes and wetlands with a diverse flora and fauna have been preserved. The numerous cultural and historical sights in the towns and villages along the course of the river shape the landscape. Old town centres, mighty castles, magnificent castles, beautiful Churches, old mills and a large number of museums provide insight into the impressive history of Saxony's cultural landscape.
A hilly area with steep cliffs, and wide rivers, sometimes stormy, sometimes relaxed. Lush meadows with an inexhaustible floral splendor look like a park created by nature in spring and summer.
