Neuseenland cycle route
The best way to travel to the industrial history of central Germany is via the Neuseenland cycle route.
The versatile landscape and the structural change from the former open-cast mining landscape to the recreational area can be experienced on the 104 km long cycle route. More than nine lakes are located directly on the route or just a few kilometers away.
The Leipziger Neuseenland is a fascinating landscape. The lignite mine, originally intended for extraction, has meanwhile provided an extraordinarily diverse recreation and recreation area.
The round trip is inviting with only a few height differences, for relaxed bike rides as well as for sporty, ambitious cycling.
