Schouwen-Duiveland, Zeeland, The Netherlands
Hiking route: 1039761
Provided by: Linda, Limburg
Your walking route starts on the edge of Renesse. From here you walk to the Vroonplas, a recreational area. The sixteenth-century Jacobuskerk is located on the Korte Reke, the old ring road of Renesse. Ring villages are typical of Schouwen-Duiveland. You will see some beautiful monuments here, take your time to take it all in! Then you walk further to Moermond Castle, from the thirteenth century. In recent years, the damaged walls of, among other things, the moat have been restored. Then you walk further to the beach for a short beach walk. If the weather is good, you can also walk this part barefoot through the surf. On the way back you can take a break at De Zeeuwse Stromen. Stay a while and enjoy your day at the seaside!
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
