Walking route Lisse and Keukenhofbosch

With this walking route you will explore Lisse and the adjacent Keukenhof forest. First you walk into the famous flower village. On the Heereweg you will see several villas and other beautiful buildings. You will also pass the fifteenth-century village church here. A little further on are the Saint Agatha church from 1903 and the building of the former Saint Agatha monastery dating from 1900. A little later you walk into the Keukenhof forest, which is part of the Hollandse Duinen National Park. This forest used to be part of the Keukenhof Estate. Now you can walk there in peace, away from all the hustle and bustle. Don't forget to look up: during the day, long-eared owls are snoozing in the old trees.
