The route starts near Bakel, at Boscafé Grotel's Genieten. A fitting name, because today you're going to enjoy the Grotelse Bossen! Enjoy a cup of coffee in the comfortable armchairs by the fireplace and then put on your hiking boots. Hidden within the Grotelse Bossen is the Aerlese fishpond, a magical spot for nature lovers. The route leads right past this beautiful pond. The entrepreneur who privately owns the Grotelse Bossen has developed a recreational gateway there with numerous activities such as a klootschieten (a Dutch bowling alley) and an ATB trail.
