Short walk through Poppel

From the heart of Poppel you set off. When you enter Dorp, look to the left, you will see the striking former town hall from 1905. Then you walk to the Sint-Valentinuskerk. This neo-Gothic building dates from 1906, although the tower dates back to the sixteenth century. The paths lead you past fields and meadows to the forests of Domein De Schrieken. At junction 20 you walk onto an unpaved path. After a while you will see the Netherlands on the left, at least if there is no corn growing there. A little later you walk through the forest of the Klotkuilheide, a small-scale nature reserve. You walk back to Poppel on a quiet road. You will see several old farms, just before the end point there is a beautiful parsonage on the left.
