Take a walk through Poppel

You set off from the heart of Poppel. When you enter the village, look to the left and you will see the striking former town hall from 1905. Then you walk to the St. Valentine's Church. This neo-Gothic building dates from 1906, although the tower dates from the sixteenth century. The paths lead you past fields and meadows to the forests of Domain De Schrieken. At junction 20 you walk onto an unpaved path. After a while you will see the Netherlands on the left, provided no corn grows there. A little later you walk through the Klotkuilheide forest, a small-scale nature reserve. You walk back to Poppel on a quiet road. You see some old farms, just before the end point there is a beautiful parsonage on the left.
