Walk through Poppel

You set off from the heart of Poppel. When you enter Dorp, look to the left, you will see the striking former town hall from 1905. Then walk to the Sint-Valentinuskerk. This neo-Gothic building dates from 1906, although the tower still dates from the sixteenth century. The paths lead you past fields and meadows to the forests of Domein De Schrieken. At junction 20 you walk onto an unpaved path. After a while you will see the Netherlands on the left, if there is no corn growing. A little later you walk through the forest of the Klotkuilheide, a small-scale nature reserve. You walk back to Poppel on a quiet road. You will see some old farms, just before the terminus there is a beautiful presbytery on the left.
