Walking through the Mosselse Veld nature reserve

The Mosselse Zand is a beautiful area characterized by openness and plains. It is the habitat of the heather and comma butterfly, but also of the uncle lark, nightjar and sand lizard. A little later you walk again through the coniferous forests around the Mosselse Zand. Heidevlakte is interspersed with shifting sand and afforestation. A beautiful landscape that is a feast for the eyes. Via the Apeldoornseweg you walk back towards Otterlo. Just before the hamlet of Roekel, turn right. You now walk through the forest for a few kilometers again, until you arrive at Restaurant Zuiderzand. This is a wonderful place to take a rest. Enjoy homemade pastries, fresh coffee or a drink here.
