Warnsborn is an area where many archaeological finds have been made. There are burial mounds of about 4,000 years old. The walk takes you over six kilometers through this beautiful area. In the ponds you will find the last population of crayfish in the Netherlands. Thanks to a successful breeding program, the endangered species is now also released in other places. In 1929, the area came into the hands of a party that wanted to build villas there. Nature conservation put a stop to that. An objection procedure led to victory for nature. The party was expropriated. The area has retained its natural beauty. In the middle you will find Landgoed Hotel Groot Warnsborn.
