Figure-eight walking around South Kennemerland National Park

The starting point of this walking route is at Landgoed Duin & Kruidberg, a classical-historical country house with a beautiful English estate garden. The estate is located in the beautiful surroundings of the Zuid-Kennemerland National Park, the beach and the dunes. During this walk you will explore this wooded and peaceful area and halfway through you will return to the Duin & Kruidberg Estate, where you can enjoy a delicious lunch, high tea, dinner or just a cup of coffee. You have a beautiful view over the garden and the pond. During this walk you will also pass the Ruins of Brederode, the remains of what was once a castle. The ruin was restored in the 19th century. You also walk past the Zandhaas flour mill, which is still used to grind grain.
