Tour of Veerse Meer and Veere

Your route starts at Fietswinkel Kamperland, a central starting point for a tour around the Veerse Meer. You can get a breath of fresh air here on the cycle path, while enjoying beautiful views. You first drive to the Oosterschelde, a National Park, for a look at the immense Oosterscheldekering. Further on you cross the Veerse Gatdam, completed in 1961, the third structure of the Delta Works. Further on, make time for a visit to Veere, a small but oh so charming town. You can see some beautiful old buildings here, such as the town hall that still has its original centuries-old facade. The Campveerse Toren dates from the fifteenth century. At Kortgene you cross the Veerse Meer again and drive back to square one.
