Route through Rotterdam Hotspots

The starting point of the route is Central Station. Via the Westersingel the route leads to the Oude Binnenweg. One of the few streets that was spared in the war. The route continues on modern shopping streets with cozy terraces. The Beurstraverse (Koopgoot) is also not skipped. After visiting the Markthal you walk to the Schiedamsedijk/Leuvehaven. Here the walking turns into a trip with the water taxi. The water taxi takes you to the Wilhelminapier where Hotel New York is located. It is a taxi, so book the crossing with the water taxi by phone before the trip. Tel. 010-4030303. In good weather you can sit on the terrace of the hotel. Via the Wilhelmina Pier, the Erasmus Bridge (beautiful view over the water) and past a few old harbors you reach the entertainment area De Oude Haven. The cube houses (Overblaak) can also be visited for little money nearby. Relax for a while on one of the many terraces at the Oude Haven, or alternatively take the metro to Central Station.
