Tour of Midwolda: Oldambtmeer and Ennemaborgh

After an overnight stay at B&B miniCamping Blauwestadhoeve, put on your walking shoes. Finally, you first pass the Ennemaborgh, the history of this country house goes back to the fourteenth century. You walk along a quiet path along the Oldambtmeer. You have a beautiful view of the rippling water and the flowery grasslands on the other side of the path. On the other side is Blauwestad, which, like the lake, was constructed in the late 1980s on former agricultural land to combat unemployment. In beautiful Midwolda you will see a hall church with a beautiful spire from 1738. There are four spiers on the roof, they refer to the four towers of the old, demolished church. You will also see some former small farms and gentleman's farms on the Hoofdweg.
