After an overnight stay at Hoeve Witteborg, you put on your walking shoes. Finally, you first pass the Ennemaborgh, the history of this country house goes back to the fourteenth century. You walk along the Oldambtmeer on a quiet path. You have a beautiful view of the rippling water and the flowery grasslands on the other side of the path. On the other side lies Blauwestad, just like the lake, it was constructed in the late eighties on former agricultural land to combat unemployment. In the beautiful Midwolda you see a hall church with a beautiful spire from 1738. On the roof there are still four spires, they refer to the four towers of the old, demolished church. You can also see several former small farms and manor farms on the Hoofdweg.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
