Tour of Winkelsven in the Kampina

Group accommodation Erfgoed Arbeid Adelt is the starting point of this beautiful walking route. The Kampina is literally in the backyard here! Soon after the start you dive into a beautiful dirt road lined with deciduous trees. You are immediately in the middle of nature. The Kampina is known for the extensive heathland in the heart of the area, but it is also enjoyable along the edge. Your walk takes you along the Winkelsven, which has been renovated a few years ago. It had almost grown over, but now all the silt has been removed. You can already hear from the bird sounds that this is a popular area for water, reed, meadow and birds of prey. A special plant also grows near Winkelsven: the protected carnivorous plant sundew. You walk back through the valley of the Beerze.
