Tour of Kampina and Oisterwijkse fens from Oirschot

After an overnight stay at Groepsaccommodatie Erfgoed Arbeid Adelt, you get on your bike. Then you cycle to the Kampina, a nature reserve of quiet forests and a large heathland. Then you take a nice tour through the Oisterwijkse Bossen & Vennen. This used to be a vast heathland area. From the early 1800s, many hectares of Scots pine were planted for mining and shipbuilding. While cycling you will see some picturesque fens. You also drive through the small, typical Brabant hamlet of Spoordonk. Just before the end of the route you cycle through Oirschot, which is known for its beautiful village center. You will find a beautiful Market and the largest wooden chair in Europe, which refers to the craftsmanship of the craftsmen who made furniture in Oirschot.
