Discover island life on Tiengemeten

Walkers get off the ferry in the harbor of Tiengemeten every day. Flowery meadows, nostalgic countryside and swampy reed land. You imagine yourself on this island just below Rotterdam on the farmland of the 19th century. Along the way you will encounter cattle and beavers. The creeks on the island are important for aquatic insects and fish. This in turn attracts numerous birds that look for food here.
