ANWB Route Putten and Ijsselmonde route

The route consists of two consecutive laps over the islands of Putten and IJsselmonde. The waterfronts of these densely built-up areas are designed for nature and recreation and are often car-free. Along both banks of the Oude Maas you will see that Spijkenisse and Hoogvliet are developing a modest skyline of high-rise buildings. On the north side of the route you are fully confronted with the hustle and bustle of the world port of Rotterdam.
NB: between junctions 12-11-76 you can choose a more sheltered path inside the dike or an outside path with more views. Both routes end at the same junctions, the choice is yours!
