Tour Bussumerheide

You will find Sportcentrum De Zandzee on the outskirts of Bussum. An extensive sports location with good catering. This walk is more than eleven kilometers and runs around the beautiful Bussumerheide. The history of this nature reserve is long. 200,000 years before Christ it was formed by land ice. That can still be seen today. For example, farmers settled here 5000 BC, making it an archaeological treasure. And did you know that it is a habitat for the rare black grouse? This bird is threatened with extinction in the Netherlands. You walk back to Bussum along the heiderand of Laren.
