Description
After this, you get on your bike to explore the Maashorst nature reserve, the largest nature reserve in North Brabant. The area consists of different landscape types, including coniferous forest, drifting sand, various fens and heathlands. The nature reserve was founded in the 1960s to combat desiccation, but it is also a wonderful rest area and attractive for recreationists. There are also herds of Scottish Highlanders and sheep in the grazing areas. Relax and enjoy!
