Tour of Uden via the Maashorst

 You start the tour via the area around Nistelrode. After about twenty kilometers you arrive in the village itself. Stop here for a cup of coffee, a pastry or a delicious lunch at Eetcafé't Pumpke. This cozy café serves fresh daily dishes with products from the region. You continue your tour through De Maashorst. This nature reserve is characterized by different landscape types. Think of coniferous forests and heathlands. But also drifting sand plains, fens and traditional Dutch farmland with fields and hedgerows. Expect to encounter animals such as Exmoor ponies, tauros and wisents. The large grazers. You can also spot birds here such as the honey buzzard, black woodpecker and hawk.
