Border shopping in Baarle-Nassau and Baarle-Hertog

The first part you walk on an unpaved path between the meadows and fields. You enjoy the silence here. Then you walk through the enclave villages of Baarle-Nassau and Baarle-Hertog. A unique environment, because the border between Belgium and the Netherlands runs criss-cross through each other, sometimes even through houses! The borders are made visible everywhere with special paving stones and aluminum plates in the road surface. In the cozy double village you also pass a number of sights, such as the old town hall. Further on is Baarle\\\'s Museum, which is dedicated to statues made of candle wax.
