Description
A little further on you will see a beautiful crucifix along the road, with a robin on the right crossbeam. According to legend, the bird got its red spot on its chest when it pecked a thorn from Jesus on the cross, causing a drop of blood to land on his chest. You walk to Gilze via Heikant and't Wijckermeer. On the square you will see a thousand-year-old wooden well in a display case.
