Description
A little further on you see a beautiful crucifix along the road, with a robin on the right crossbar. According to legend, the little bird got its red spot on its chest when it picked up a thorn from Jesus on the cross, causing a drop of blood to fall on his chest. You walk to Gilze via Heikant and't Wijckermeer. On the square you can see a thousand-year-old wooden well in a display case.
