Water Tour at the Warande

Here you look out over the Klein Zwitserland nature reserve, a beautiful piece of nature around a lake. A walking path has been constructed around the lake and you will also find the Gilze play forest here. Then you walk past Vliegbasis Gilze-Rijen, the helicopter base of the air force. Who knows what you will spot here! You walk back via the Water aan de Warande, a nature reserve with paths around a pond. It is called Warande because it originated from the hunting grounds (warande) of the Prince of Orange, also Lord of Breda.
