Description
Your route starts with a cup of coffee at Brasserie Halverwege, right on the waterfront in the Geuzenbos. You can get there from the highway in no time, so you don't have to go into town with the bicycle carrier. From here you cycle into Amsterdam. You drive over the cozy Haarlemmerdijk and then take the ferry across the IJ. Enjoy the beautiful view of the city skyline and the EYE Film Museum. You cycle out of the city through hip Amsterdam-Noord, to Zaandam. You are suddenly in the middle of the polder! You cycle back to your starting point along the water.
