Description
Today you will discover the Loonse & Drunense Duinen National Park, an oasis of peace between a number of major Brabant cities. The vast area is also sometimes called the Brabant Sahara: nowhere in Europe are living drifting sands found on such a large scale. Yet this national park consists of more than sand. You walk through dense deciduous and coniferous forests and heathlands that turn beautiful purple in August. Take some time to enjoy the view over the sea of sand in the sun!
