From Leimuiden you first cycle along the Westeinderplassen. This lake was created by peat extraction, but never drained. From the dike you have a beautiful view over the rippling water. From junction 3 you cycle along the characteristic Uiterweg. You will see some beautiful buildings here. Further on you cycle through the heart of Aalsmeer to the village of De Kwakel, after which you cycle along the towpath along the Amstel. The river forms the border between North and South Holland here. Via Bilderdam you cross to the Langeraarse Plassen. A little later you cycle along the third lake on this route: the Braassemermeer. At junction 29 there is a monumental lock from 1892. A little later you have a beautiful view over the water from the quay. The route ends at Keijzer Partycentrum, Biljartzaal and Café.
