Tour of Lauwersmeer: Anjum and viewpoint

You first walk to Ezumakeeg Noord Viewpoint, where many birds can be spotted. There are many migratory birds here in spring and autumn. You also have a good chance of seeing a sea eagle! In the beautiful mound village of Anjum you will see De Eendracht, a flour mill from 1889 that houses a museum. The beautiful Michael Church dates from 1100 and is partly made of tuff stone. Drink a cup of coffee in Anjum or enjoy lunch at Hotel Restaurant Toxopeus before walking back to your starting point. A beautiful path through the fields leads you back to where you left off.
