Description
You walk through Elspeet, past a few beautiful old farmhouses. In the countryside, you see De Hoop, a windmill from 1894. You walk to the picturesque Staverden Estate, where you see many beautiful monumental buildings. The manor house, coach house, and orangery are surrounded by a beautiful park. Incredibly, it was laid out centuries ago as the beginning of a city. Fortunately, that plan did not go through, but Staverden is now the smallest town with city rights in the Benelux!
