Tour of Loonse Drunense forests and dunes

Welcome to the Loonse and Drunense Duinen! This area is also called the'Brabant Sahara\\\'. Nowhere in the Netherlands will you find as much drifting sand as here! You start at a parking lot in Loon op Zand. Via Kaatsheuvel and the bottom of Waalwijk you cycle towards the Loonse and Drunense Duinen. Cycle past the varied landscape of grass, swamp and heath and be surprised by the diversity of the environment. Cycling You can take a break at De Roestelberg. This restaurant in the middle of the Loonse and Drunense dunes has a beautiful terrace at the edge of the forest. Walk up the dune, from here you look out over a sandy plain. You cycle back to the parking lot via the pleasant village of Loon op Zand.
