Cycling tour through the Drenthe forests

From Cafe't Haantje Eten & Drinken you drive straight into the vast Drenthe countryside. First you drive to Boswachterij Sleenerzand. The path takes you many kilometers along trees and heathlands. Enjoy! At junction 59 lies the Zevenmarkensteen which marks the point where seven boermarken used to come together. The original stone has disappeared, but in 2004 a modern version was replaced. A little later you drive into the forests near Schoonloo. Here too you will find plenty of fresh air and peace. You make a crossing through the Hunzedal, where you drive along the Buinen-Schoonoord canal. Then it is time for many kilometers of beautiful Drenthe forest. Finally you drive through Odoorn, where you will see several characteristic farms. At Cafe't Haantje Eten & Drinken it is time for a drink.
