Bicycle tour through the Drenthe forests

From Camping & Grandcafe't Haantje you can drive straight into the vast nature of Drenthe. First you drive to Boswachterij Sleenerzand. The path takes you for many kilometers along trees and heaths. To enjoy! At node 59 is the Zevenmarkensteen, which marks the point where seven boermarken used to come together. The original stone has disappeared, but a modern version was replaced in 2004. A little later you enter the woods at Schoonloo. Here you will also find plenty of fresh air and tranquility. You make a shortcut through the Hunzedal, where you drive along the Buinen-Schoonoord canal. Then it is time again for many kilometers of beautiful Drents forest. Finally, you drive through Odoorn, where you will see some characteristic farms. It's time for a drink at't Haantje.
