From the starting point you walk towards the green countryside. After a while you come across Castle Nemerlaer, which dates from the 14th century. The castle is named after the river Amer en Laer and has been renovated and restored several times. The castle is still inhabited today. Then you walk for a while along the river Essche Stroom.
