Two national parks and beautiful Drenthe villages: you will not lack nature and cultural history on this beautiful route! First you drive through the vast forests and heathlands of the Drents-Friese Wold National Park. In Diever you will pass the former Schultehuis from 1604 on the Brink. You can also admire the beautiful medieval St. Pancratius Church in this village. Further on you cycle along the historic leafy Brink of Dwingeloo. Take a look at the striking spire of St. Nicholas Church. The large heathland of the Dwingelderveld is one of the quietest places in the Netherlands. Unless the flock of sheep walks by. It is wonderful to travel for miles through the Drenthe countryside with its Saxon farms. The route ends with a terrace at Camping Zonnekamp, a comfortable and quiet holiday address.
