Cycling along meadows, ditches and beautiful farms, you will discover the charm of the characteristically vast Frisian country. And you experience a refreshing silence. You pass through some beautiful villages, such as Gaast and Idsegahuizum. Further afield is Bolsward, one of the Frisian Eleven Cities. The beautiful historic center enjoys a protected cityscape, time to take a break and view all this beauty at your leisure. Then you cycle towards the Frisian Lakes. You will pass through some beautiful towns, such as Oudega, Gaastmeer and Molkwerum. The last kilometers back to Hindeloopen you drive behind the former Zuiderzeedijk. You can walk up to it for a beautiful view of the IJsselmeer.
