Historical route along Zevenaar and Babberich

This route passes several beautiful castles and country houses near Zevenaar. Take, for example, Huis Babberich, which was built in the 14th century, and which you cycle past almost immediately. You will also pass Huis Aerdt, a historic house surrounded by a moat and surrounded by pollard willows. Via the small village of Aerdt you cycle through the beautiful landscape of the Groote Waarde, where you can relax. In Groessen you cycle past the remains of the De Welvaart mill and the national monument De Beerenclaauw. This house is one of the oldest buildings in the village. You cycle back to Babberich via Zevenaar.
