Cycling through the forests near Bergeijk

De Keizer eten & drinken is the starting and ending point of this route through the Brabant forests. First, you'll cycle through the forests of Boswachterij de Kempen. In between, you'll ride past fields and meadows, regularly passing an old longhouse. You're riding close to the Belgian border, and it's clear: it's wonderfully peaceful here. Between the villages of Borkel and Schaft, you'll cross the Dommel River, a lovely spot to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Then, you'll cycle for a few kilometers through the tranquil Leenderbos forest with its expansive heathlands. The final kilometer takes you through farmland. In Eersel, you'll pass the fifteenth-century Sint-Willibrordus Church.
