City walk Ede: past a mill and war history

Ede is beautifully situated on the edge of the Veluwe, but the place itself is also worth exploring. This route takes you from Ede Centrum train station through the center of Ede. Stroll through the streets and soak up the atmosphere of Ede. Along the way you can take a look at Molen De Concordia. This tower mill was built here in 1865, but since 1952 no wind power has been used with this mill. Yet the mill is still beautiful to see. Ede also has a long war history that you can find in several places. You will find all kinds of monuments in the village, but also old barracks that were used during the Second World War.
