Nice long mill route at Barneveld

This walking tour takes you through the green area southwest of the village of Barneveld. You start your walk at the Barneveld Centrum train station and then walk through the streets of the village to the edge of Barneveld. After about 2 kilometers you end up between the vast fields and meadows. Here you can relax for a while with only greenery around you. You will find the hamlet of Walderveen in the middle of the landscape. You will find the Walderveense Mill here, which dates back to 1895. Grain is still ground on a voluntary basis with this mill, so the mill may even be running when you pass by. From here you walk through a vast landscape back to Barneveld. Your final destination is Barneveld Centrum train station.
