De Schaffelaar Tour: Barneveld and farmland

Barneveld Centrum train station is the perfect base for beautiful walks. This route introduces you to some of that beauty. Hop off the train at the station and head straight for the Schaffelaar Estate. Before you know it, you'll be admiring the castle-like manor house on the estate. Take a moment to admire it, then stroll along the estate's lanes to the outskirts of Barneveld. Afterward, walk a bit further along the fields and meadows outside the village. It's wonderfully peaceful and spacious here, so it's a real treat if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Stop by the Dutch Poultry Museum, highly recommended! Then, stroll through the streets of Barneveld, ending your walk back at Barneveld Centrum train station.
