Tour of De Schaffelaar: Barneveld and farmland

The train station of Barneveld Centrum is the perfect base for beautiful walks. This route introduces you to part of that beauty. Get off the train at the station and head straight for Landgoed Schaffelaar. Before you know it you will be admiring the castle-like mansion on the estate. Take some time for this and then walk along the avenues of the estate to the outskirts of Barneveld. Then you walk a bit along the fields and meadows outside the village. It is wonderfully quiet and spacious here, so you can enjoy it if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. You then walk through the streets of Barneveld to end your tour at Barneveld Centrum train station.
