Walking through Ransdorp and Durgerdam

Hotel Café de Zwaan is the starting point for this beautiful route through the Waterland. After a coffee with something delicious, you first walk through Ransdorp. Here you will see some monumental wooden houses and the church, which has been renovated several times, the striking tower dates back to 1525. Then you walk into the polder. It is wonderful to walk along the Weersloot. You look out over vast grasslands, rippling water and reed beds. After a while you reach Durgerdam, a village known for its many ancient wooden houses. What a nice atmosphere you will find here! Walking on the Uitdammerdijk you can get a breath of fresh air and enjoy views over the waters of the Kinselmeer and the Pampus. Back at Hotel Café de Zwaan it's time for something delicious.
