Gelderse Valley: from Hoevelaken to Barneveld Noord

This route introduces you to stage 2 of the multi-day walk along the train stations of the Valleilijn. You walk from Hoevelaken station to Barneveld Noord station. The starting point of your walk is at Hoevelaken station on the edge of the village. From here you walk north into the nature of the Gelderse Vallei. This low-lying area is naturally very wet and you used to find peat areas with blue grassland here. Here and there you can still find traces of this in the landscape. You can also enjoy grasslands and small forest areas in this area. This way you can safely set course for Barneveld. The last part of the route takes you straight through the center of the village to Barneveld Noord station.
