From canoeists on the Dommel to the beautiful fens in the De Malpie nature reserve: a wonderful walk through a special piece of nature!
Canoeists
From here you first walk along the Dommel, where canoeists and characters can often be seen. They occasionally have to do some funny antics to climb dry onto the side! Nearby you will also see the Venbergse Watermolen, whose history goes back more than 1,000 years.
Malpie
The Malpie nature reserve is very humid and rolling. The sand ridges date from the Ice Age and were shaped by the wind. This is how a whole series of small hills were created. Between the heaths, water wells up from the ground to form mysterious fens, a beautiful sight. You walk right past the Groot Malpeven, which has recently been renovated. Now you can see the original plants and animals returning.
