Description
A nice lazy walk of less than 5 kilometers, through the woods on De Marisberg. That gives you plenty of time to discover your cozy starting point extensively!
Marisberg
At the Dorpsplein you will pass the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church from 1954. The Pioniers Monument is also located here in memory of the people who developed Grashoek. You also walk through the fragrant coniferous forest of De Marisberg, the highest point in the Peel. It is also called Belgenhoek, after the Belgians who built the Helenavaart more than 100 years ago.
Spiesberg
In the area you will find sand drifts and coniferous forests. The forests here are very varied, which makes it attractive to all kinds of fauna - from birds to mammals. You walk back to the edge of Spiesberg (another mountain!)
