After an overnight stay – or just a cup of coffee – at Hotel Mennorode, you will set off. Today you will discover the Uddel Forestry. It is part of the Royal Forestry Het Loo, an area of approximately twelve by sixteen kilometres. In addition to the Uddel Forestry, Gortel and Hoog Soeren are also part of it. The forest and heathland area has hardly any buildings, which makes it look very authentic. The many deciduous trees make it different in every season. The Royal Forestry was previously mainly used for hunting and forestry. It is not without reason that it is well known for its abundance of game. Who knows, you might even encounter red deer, roe deer or wild boar! When you walk back, you will see the heathland of De Kril on the other side of the road.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
