It is better to walk the first meters of your route, there is so much beauty to see in the historic heart of Sint-Truiden. You pass, among other things, the Belfry, the lower part of which still remains from the thirteenth century. The Church of Our Lady also dates from the Middle Ages. From the Abbey Tower you have a beautiful panorama over the city.
In the countryside you drive on car-free roads through some quiet, beautiful villages where you can admire old farms and churches. In the rolling Hesbaye country you look out over fields, fields, streams and orchards. You pass a number of special viewpoints, such as the Panorama basin and the Honsberg. Back in Sint-Truiden you pass through Domain't Speelhof, a beautiful city park with a castle. Then it is time for a nice meal on one of the many terraces.
