Banjaard beach
Your route starts at the edge of the Oosterschelde, a national park. You cycle along the north coast of Noord-Beveland. Here you will find the inlays so characteristic of this island: small polders behind the sea wall where you see an unspoilt nature of swamps, grasslands and reed fields. Beautiful! Climb up the dike for a beautiful view of the rippling Oosterschelde. Just past junction 4 you pass Banjaardstrand, one of the cleanest beaches in the Netherlands.
